Cairns Hinterland Steiner School is based in Kuranda (approximately 20kms from Cairns) and has the enviable position of a bush school set amongst 40 acres of rainforest and surrounded by natural beauty.  The early childhood, primary and high school campus are nestled amongst landscaped gardens, grassed ovals, nature-based play areas and large vegetable gardens.

Many families have moved from other states, cities and internationally to join us and if you are considering a tree change, we are happy to provide advice. Our current families come from as far as Cairns city to the Northern Beaches, and Kuranda, Mareeba and the Tablelands to attend our school with dedicated bus services offered.
