We are an independent private school situated in Kuranda (approximately 20kms from Cairns) in Far North Queensland.
Cairns Hinterland Steiner School offers an educational program from Kindergarten to Class 5 in Primary School,Class 6 to 8 in Middle School and currently offers Class 9 and 10 in High School. We have received approval to offer Class 11 from 2019, and Class 12 from 2020. The school is co-educational and non-denominational and offers the nationally accredited ASCF curriculum based on the educational insights and impulses of Rudolf Steiner. From Class 9 we offer the Big Picture Design, which is in keeping with Steiner philosophy.
